IT Business analytik
Summary of Position Responsibilities:
As a key member of the IT team, the role holder plays an important role in the development of technology solutions for the organization. He/She is responsible for identifying and documenting business and functional requirements and in the delivery of solutions for the business.
As part of the role, he/she acts as the primary liaison between IT and the business. He/she works with internal and third party teams to identify, build and deliver applications and solutions.
Major responsibilities of the position:
- Serves as a liaison between the business and the IT area, translating business needs into application software requirements, ensuring concise and fully understandable business specifications are documented
- Manages critical relationships with IT, consultants and vendors, internal end users, and business customers/leadership
- Manage the delivery of all aspects of small projects and/or phases of larger projects
- Assist with developing suitable testing and implementation strategies for each project in conjunction with the business and external suppliers
- Provides information to end users to help resolve problems regarding assigned system(s)
- Ensure quality of all deliverables and associated documentation
- Contribute to user guides, reference manuals, training materials and code release artefacts as appropriate
- Actively participates in change management activities
- Provide technical and work guidance to other BA’s on the team
- Performs other duties as assigned or required
Requirements:
- University degree in a technical or economical area is advantage
- User needs analysis
- Experienced in the documentation of business and functional specifications
- Systems Testing, UAT, Integration Testing
- English language at an advanced level
- Knowledge of Life and Pensions, Investment and Insurance products
- Awareness or use structured methodologies such as Prince 2 and Agile
- 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in all phases of the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC), from initiation through to implementation
- Experience with Policy Administration platforms and integration of systems / processes within a Life and Pensions environment is an advantage
- position is available either in Prague or Bratislava
