Senior IT Architect

Supports System, Data, Solution and Enterprise Architecture. Associates assigned to these roles translate business vision and strategy into effective enterprise change by creating, communicating, and improving the key requirements, principles and models that describe the enterprise's future state and enable its evolution. These roles generally collaborate with product development teams to develop applications/solutions/systems by providing architecture guidance and hands-on technical coding/scripting support during all phases of SDLC.

Key Responsibilities:

• creates, analyzes, reviews and documents assigned architecture with minimal oversight
• creates architectural specifications for the E2E solutions, which include the system components, services, technologies, and design required to implement a solution
• ontrols architectural specifications ensuring feasibility, functionality, and integration with the existing systems/platforms
• development of current and/or target state reference architecture artifacts which includes: Principles Rules & Guidelines, Conceptual and Logical Domain Architectures, Domain Roadmaps, with minimal oversight
• actively participates and supports projects and/or different phases of agile SDLC
• leads the identification of risks for the product or domain
• participates in planning and supports product or domain-related governance efforts
• identifies technical approaches and new or enhanced technical tools/methodologies/solutions for the product or domain
• evaluates and recommends new technologies for fit-for-purpose and socialize architecture recommendations with product and platform teams
• gains awareness of trends and issues in area of technical expertise, potential new technologies or technology opportunities to champion the customer

Business Experience and Technical Skills:

• BA/BS in Comp Science/IS/Engineering
• 2+ years leading people/projects
• proficiency with creation of SW solutions and architecture specifications
• proficiency with development platforms, Microsoft preferred
• proficiency with integration services, platforms, and patterns
• proficiency with various database technologies and solutions, including both SQL and NoSQL.
• ability to work with applicable collaboration and technical tools that drive an end-to-end delivery of product through persistent teams
• highly analytical, methodical with excellent attention to detail.
• ability to think strategically, assess business risk and apply creative problem-solving skills ability to manage multiple work-streams simultaneously
• strong relationship-building skills - internal colleagues, 3rd parties, suppliers / vendor management – on and off-shore
• delivery focused

Preferred:

• proficiency with web languages such as JavaScript, Typescript, PHP
• proficiency with modern web frameworks such as Node.js, AngularJS or VueJS.
• agile certifications: SAFe Certifications (SSM, SP) & Scrum Certifications
• Azure Solution Architecture Certification
• technical Certifications in area of expertise
